In "Pass the Monkey", the goal is not to sit back with the monkey. You start by drawing a card from the deck and reading the question aloud. If the card is marked red, you have to answer it yourself - if it is green, you pass the monkey on to one of the other players. The card has a category, e.g. car brands. You start the time by picking up the monkey, and when you have answered, you pass the monkey on. If the time runs out before you have time to answer, or you answer incorrectly - yes, then you are the one sitting with the monkey - literally! This means that you have lost the round, and you must move your piece the number of spaces indicated on the card, counterclockwise. The game is over when a player lands on the loser's space. The player who is closest to the starting space at the end wins. Playing time approx. 30 min. For 2-6 players. From 12 years.
