The stegosaurus is easy to spot from a distance, and it's not just because of its enormous size: The fiery red double row of bony, curved armoured plates on its back is unmistakable. It forms a beautiful contrast to the yellowish lizard skin. With its head lowered, it trudges across the meadows, always holding its long tail slightly upwards. Its favourite activity is grazing.
